  • U.S. Travel Association: Research & Publications  
      
    Provides statistical data, published articles and economic impact studies relevant to travel industry policies and marketing decisions. Also offers a number of other travel-related resources.
  • Ulrich's Periodical Directory  
      
    Provides detailed descriptions for more than 300,000 journals, magazines, newspapers, and other periodical sources. This is the best source for determining whether or not a title is refereed (also known as peer-reviewed). Note: This is not a resource for finding actual articles, just background information about periodicals. To find articles, use the library's Find Resources by Subject to locate appropriate databases.

    Laws are often referred to by popular names--but sometimes they are not easy to locate using these name. This site will help you translate the popular name into the formal citation information.
  • U.S. Department of Education  
      
    Provides information on: initiatives and priorities, grant opportunities, offices, publications, research, and statistics. There are special collections of information for parents, teachers and students.
  • U.S. Small Business Administration  
      
    The U.S. SBA provides financial, technical, and management assistance to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses. Their site offers a vast amount of information on these and other business related topics.
  • United Nations  
      
    United Nations information, documents, activities, conferences, etc.
  • United States Copyright Office  
      
    The definitive site for copyright information.
  • University of Pittsburgh Press: Digital Editions  
      
    Over 500 free books on Latin America; Russian & East European Studies; and Composition, Literacy, & Culture. Many were out-of-print, but now made available online. Search within the books, or browse by author, title, or topic.
  • USA.gov: Government Made Easy
