- Serials Directory
Provides publication and pricing information for a very large number of U.S. and international periodicals. This is not the place to find articles! (EBSCO) - Ulrich's Periodical Directory
Provides detailed descriptions for more than 300,000 journals, magazines, newspapers, and other periodical sources. This is the best source for determining whether or not a title is refereed (also known as peer-reviewed). Note: This is not a resource for finding actual articles, just background information about periodicals. To find articles, use the library's Find Resources by Subject to locate appropriate databases.

The first database has a box you can check to see only results from peer-reviewed journals. You can email articles, request things that do not have full-text available, and even get citations already formatted. Ask the Reference Desk for more info.
